As previously noted, the Albanich show was held very recently in Dumfries.
The Glasgow Phoenix club was there, and several club members [with reinforcements from G3] put on a Star Wars game.
Although I wasn't able to attend the show myself I have been able to liberate another picture or two using my spies.

Charge of the Light Brigade
The third in a series of posts on the games appearing at Wappinshaw focuses on that brought to us by Kirriemuir Wargames Club - http://www.kirriemuirwargames.co.uk/index.shtml
They will be presenting The Charge of the Light Brigade in 28mm
This will be a public participation game - and something tells me the players won't get to be the Russians!
Here: http://www.poetryarchive.org/poetryarchive/singlePoem.do?poemId=1570 you can listen to a scratchy recording of Tennyson reading his famous poem.
Two years ago Kirriemuir ran a participation game based on a viking raid, and this went down very well with all ages!
Last year was another participation game - and the persistence must be admired - but a very different game - Malifaux

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
"Forward, the Light Brigade!
"Charge for the guns!" he said:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
