From the take on the door we believe numbers were up on last year, but also that the number of younger gamers was down as a proportion. The B&B seemed to do a brisk trade.
And with that, onto the pics!
Clearly, the most important place to start is the food. The Royal Concert Hall benefits from having catering accessible to the show. The bacon butties were once again outstanding, but here's my lunch

The chicken pie was good, but the apple pie was scrumptious enough to deserve its own close-up

I s'pose we should mention the games?
SESWC took the Jubilee into account and wore their republican sympathies on their sleeves by putting on an AWI game.

The only naval game of the day was by Falkirk, who took us back a hundred years to the Heligoland Bight.

Dumfries moved things forward slightly to the Inter-war period for an AVBCW game.

Bathgate brought an 18th C highwayman/skirmish game

Most of my day was spent around the Phoenix Club game - Ascalon from the First Crusade.

I think Kirriemuir had switched their game to Malifaux? If anyone can confirm or correct that it would be appreciated. Good luck to them for Targe later in the year.

Although there as a trader, Crooked Dice had a participation game that was extremely busy all day - after punters were allowed in that is, I managed to snap a couple of shots before the show opened to the public.

The Glasgow Club [one of four in the city] were running a participation game of CY6, which was hotly contested right up until the show closed at 4.

G3 [Glasgow Games Group] had a game called Empire of the Dead: Cruel Britannia - Victorian Gothic horror.

Last but certainly not least, Gourock had the only 15mm game of the day - Kunersdorf from the Seven Years War.

Thanks again to all concerned. I'm sure Euan will be along shortly to add his own thanks. Date for Wappinshaw '13 to be announced shortly!
